In one of the most amazing Broadway musicals of all time, Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler chilling, suspenseful, funny and heart-pounding masterpiece tells the tale of a wrongly imprisoned barber who escapes and returns to London seeking revenge.  He sets up shop above Mrs. Lovett’s Meat Pie Emporium and as his thirst for blood increases, the ever-resourceful Mrs. Lovett finds inventive ways to dispose of the evidence.  And the people of London love the results.  The recent revival and film with Johnny Depp ensured its status as a true Broadway classic.

Auditioners do not need to prepare a memorized reading, but having a practiced song to sing is
advisable (with sheet music if it is not from “Sweeny Todd”.)  An accompanist will be provided. 

The cast of approximately thirty is made up of ages 13 and up, all races and genders.
